I was born in Louisiana and moved to Tennessee in 1988. Except for a brief five-year sojourn between 1998 and 2003 when my family and I lived in Oxford, MS, we have been in either the Memphis or Nashville areas. I attended and received degrees from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette, University of Memphis, and University of Mississippi. My husband and I have one daughter, Micaela, who currently is a junior at Father Ryan high school. Before coming to St. Ann, I taught at Ole Miss, Northwest MS Community College, MTSU, Memphis City Schools system, and St. Thomas More High School (Lafayette, LA). This is my seventh year at St. Ann. My hobbies include reading, cooking, and watching New Orleans Saints football.
